ART! : Retablo Series

Frida Kahlo collected—and was inspired by—retablos, a form of Mexican folk art devotional painting. I, in turn, am inspired by Frida Kahlo. Selecting among hundreds of drawings I made during the pandemic through Life Drawing Barcelona on Zoom, I’m currently putting together this series.
